“Homebodies” 2024, is a personal project born from the quiet rituals of my everyday life. Each morning, I step out onto my balcony with gratitude, surrounded by nature and birdsong. My cat, Katsy, perches beside me on the railing, sharing the view.
Though Bangalore hums with the chaos of traffic, I’ve been lucky to find this home, tucked away in a pocket of calm, sheltered from noise and pollution. Over time, this space has become sacred to me. Katsy watches over me each day, a gentle guardian and companion in this little sanctuary.
This year I was gifted a binoculors to explore a different kind of world. That curiosity opened up new ways of seeing, shifting how I experience the everyday. It was during this time that I revisited “Homebodies,” reimagining it from a different perspective.
