“Hostel Tribute” is a personal project I created in early 2023—a farewell to the NID hostel where I spent four years of my life. That space held my growth and transformation, but it was also where I lost my friend. When the time came to leave, I carried with me bittersweet memories: a mix of eagerness to move on and the weight of what I was leaving behind.

The characters in this piece represent the friends and personalities I encountered during those years. They don’t look like this in reality, but through them, I sought to capture the essence of who they were, their quirks, their spirit, their presence in my journey.
